Lots of Good Eats!

My Mom in law gave me all of this corn and since I don’t really eat non-organic corn (b/c of GMOS)- I think I am going to give it to my family/friends.
I’ve been making Flax Crackers for the past couple of days- glad I’m finished!
I just poured hot water over the broc and put a plate over it to help it steam.
After about 3-5 minutes- it looked like this- it was so good! I am totally doing this from now on!
ALWAYS:
- 100% organic and natural
- 100% vegan (no dairy, no animal products)
- Rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber
- Sustainably harvested and fairly traded
5 FRUITS:
- Full serving of fruit per bag!
- No sugar, no sulfites, no oil, absolutely nothing added
I liked both of the Kopali Organics dried fruits- the pineapple and mango were delish and sweet even though there is no added sugar. I gave the hubby some as a snack and let’s just say he ate almost all of the pineapple. Nuff said. These would make great snacks when we go to Disney World in 10 days- I definitely plan on bringing healthy snacks including these rather than pay DW prices for unhealthy junk.
I’ve been wanting to try the Cinnamon Roll Larabar, FOREVER! Finally! It was so A.W.E.S.O.M.E.!!! I have to say I like this better than Cashew Cookie!! I felt like I was eating a cinnamon roll- I wish I had thought to warm it-and eat it mmmm…
I decided since my Almond Butter jar was empty that I could finally try out Kath’s fun trick over at Kath Eats. But instead of oatmeal, I put raw granola in my jar and mixed it up- I have to tell ya- this was FAB!! Now I can’t wait to empty my AB jars so I can do this! The only problem is now I need some more raw almond butter!
This was my second time trying Cocoa Mole and I really love this bar- it has such a great flavor of cocoa and nuts- it has a little spicy kick which I like. I had 1/2 bar before working out and 1/2 bar after- definitely hit the spot!
I know what you’re thinking- THREE bars in one day!! I normally don’t eat that many bars in one day-but today I made an exception because I had been dying to try out the Coconut Cream as well. It was seriously so delish-coconut, nuts, chewy heaven- I loved this bar!! Am I ever going to find a Larabar that I DON’T Like?? Probably not.

I did not know you could steam broccoli like that! How quick and convenient! I def have to try that (and my mom actually just bought a 5 lb bag of broccoli florets so it will be perfect to test out!) thanks girl!

MMMM, I love mangoes and love larabars!! Cashew cookie, peanut butter cookie & lemon bar are my fave!
Oh I’ve been wanting to try the Cinnamon Roll–I actually saw it last night and almost grabbed! I like the Cashew flavor and still have so many to try!
Man, I really need to try a Larabar–they are all over the blogs! Do they usually keep you full for a couple of hours? Or are they better as desserts?
Oooouhh… I cannot wait for fresh corn on the cob!! I believe the season starts in August over here.
you don’t eat corn… omg… send me some I love corn!
