I was cooking up a storm Thursday! Here is what I cooked to bring to my Mom’s for Thanksgiving..
Green Bean Casserole w/fresh french green beans & I made my own onion rings battered in egg & flour
And a new recipe that I tried..Cabbage Casserole- this was the hit of the party- everyone wanted my recipe!
My homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies were also the hit of the party
Rocking my new hair
This was the only picture that I could find of my Mom’s new house- as you can tell, it’s still under construction -she went very eco- friendly and used mostly wood & Stone
Mandy & I
aaaand Jessica & I
Johnny & Mandy & their little girl, Hannah
And Jessica & I again- I borrowed her shirt & jacket b/c my shirt was driving me up the wall! I felt much better
Later, a few of us rode downtown to look at the Lights on the Square- it was really pretty
It was sooooo cold brrrr!!
and we had to hop in Santa’s sleigh to get a picture
We had such an awesome Thanksgiving- it was so much fun hanging out with everyone as always. And now I can tell you guys the news- remember when I told you that I had some great news, but I couldn’t tell you until after Thanksgiving? Well, my sister is pregnant!!!! I am so excited! I LOVE being an Aunt and I love babies
I am so happy for her and her husband and her son is so excited as well (he wants a little brother of course;) As long as the baby is healthy- either one would be awesome
Anyway, I’m so happy you guys know now- it’s really hard keeping a secret
I am Thankful For:
- Jesus
- My husband
- My sister being pregnant
- Our house almost being completed
- My clean house w/soy candles lit- love it!
- Heat!!
- My Mom’s New Home!
- My family and how everyone gets along better
- Bloggie friends!
There are so many more things that I could list right now- but it would take all night- when I am having a bad day, I always write a list of the things that I am thankful for, and it always makes me feel 100 x’s better! I am so thankful for what I have.
