Some caffeine-induced cleaning

Friday
I convinced the hubby to drop me off at TJ’s while he went to Home Depot to pick up a few things
I found lots of organic teas in the clearance section :D
I was out of my organic shampoo & shower gel so I picked up some more.
Set of 10 glasses that was on sale for $6.50- the hubby and I go through alot of glasses
Some things for the house- I plan on painting the “Family” Sign a dark espresso.
Saturday
Cafe Altura sent me some organic coffees to review- I was happy to oblige!

Our beginnings at Cafe Altura were modest and humble, with very little money, no credit, too many people and way too many pets. We introduced organically grown coffee into an industry that still considered coffee a “sin”. We slowly found our way to consumers who enjoyed good coffee and wanted to support family farms who were willing to invest in the future of the environment.

Our travels brought new and exciting coffees to the Cafe Altura family. We now offer organic coffee from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Hawaii, Mexico, Sumatra, and Colombia. All of our decaffeinated coffees are processed at the certified Mountain Water Process plant in Vancouver, British Columbia. This patented process extracts 97% of the caffeine using only water and steam. |
Cafe Altura farmers use organic practices that follow and foster coffee’s natural cycle. Organic cultivation and fertilization provide coffee trees with the proper nutrients to produce a rich, healthy crop which in turn creates rich, enjoyable coffee. No pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers of any kind are used on Cafe Altura coffee products.
Mmm love the smell of fresh coffee beans
I loved the bold taste of Cafe Altura Coffees- forget Starbucks- this definitely gave me the kick start that I needed to start my day!
After I had my coffee- I got started cleaning the house
Cleaned The Office area.
And the kitchen
Half bath
I had an empty jar..hmm what can I fill it with?
The hubby’s candy, of course!
I also did some laundry- before…
After
I also made some more raw cookies & used my new plate
I oven roasted some organic potatoes w/fresh rosemary & thyme out of my herb garden.
Which somehow turned into a casserole w/broccoli & a cream sauce topped with parmiagano
And I had to get a picture of the hubby- always working
This weekend has been busy!
